IWW's monthly competitions include a mix of poetry, fiction and non-fiction.
Each competition usually follows a workshop on the theme
and a summary of the workshop will appear in the newsletter prior to the competition closing date.
Unless advised otherwise, all entries shall be submitted digitally.
Submission details will be emailed to members at the time submissions open, which will be one one week before submissions close. Please do not send entries outside the submission period.
Each monthly competition has a $50 prize for the winner (to be shared if tied).
These are the confirmed competitions for 2026.
IWW’s monthly competitions are open to financial and honorary members of IWW.
